    Hi

First off, great plugin! Looks exactly like what I’ve been looking for for my clients site.

I’m sure it’s some conflict with the theme I am using (https://themeshift.com/deluxe/), but when I click an event on the frontend of my site, the “Loading event details” tab appears at the top of the screen and then nothing else happens. The edit event pop-up in admin works fine. I hav edisabled all my plugins, with no effect.

Also the “m” is missing from the “am” and “pm” times on the front end.

My client is likely to want to add events the same day as they will occur. Currently, it looks like this is impossible, as the calendar recognises today’s date as a past event, which can’t be edited/added. Is there a way to disable this restriction?

During the creation of an event, is there any way of making all the fields optional? The address and contact person fields, for example, aren’t needed and shouldn’t appear all on the site I am building.

Looking forward to giving it 5* and a credit in my sites source code (client won’t allow front end credits for developers ?? ).

    Many thanks for your help.

    Mr M

    Mr M,
I’m glad you like the plugin and I appreciate your feedback.

I intend to review the style collisions in the next release which I expect will address the majority (if not all) of the css issues encountered.

Point of fact, you can currently add events the same day they occur, only not in the month view. However, switching to week view users can add events on the same day they occur.

That said, the next release will include improved logic so users adding an event in the month view for the same day will not trigger a full-day event, rather a start time rounded to the nearest 30 minutes from time of entry. Also, I will add an option that will toggle all current limits to event creation.

Finally, at present I have no plans to customize the form field settings, nor remove the front-end credits – but that too may be subject to change given subsequent feedback.

As of version 0.8, the Ajax Event Calendar plugin includes an option to toggle the sidebar template for the full calendar view. It also contains an new option that toggles event creation limits. Finally, author credit has been buried so that it is no longer visible. Many CSS theme conflicts have been resolved, but judging from preliminary tests, theme related issues are less likely to be addressed by me, as they represent customizations that can be made in the custom.css file.

If you use this plugin and it works for you, please show your support and vote.

    Thanks!
