I am having the same problem.
Used pinballw work around for now.
I won’t upgrade until this is solved.

I still have all the problems that I have had. It has been over 2 months. Took all my images out but left the plug in. I am amazed NextGEN Gallery does not help at all. There are many many problems. Not one has been addressed. Wow!

Just updated and now i have this appear Warning: strpos() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in /home/kidies/public_html/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/nextgen_basic_album/package.module.nextgen_basic_album.php on line 119 Hey NextGEN Gallery Why can’t you get your plugin to work? https://parentingplus.com/past-issues/ click on an image and it opens, click on one page in the mag and it does not open and goes back to the past issue page and nothing else works.

If you update the plugin you will have to follow pinballw’s work around again as your edited .php file was over written.
This is why I’m not updating NextGEN plugin until I see that this is no longer an issue. Or, I’ll just to re-edit the .php file after each update.I did try on several different themes with the same result.
As far as the linking issue you may just have to re-link what doesn’t work.
For the time being, I’m in holding pattern…

Hey popping back in here to see if there are plans @photocrati to address the line 119 error in future releases. Had to implement my “hack” once again after updating this week.

Glad you guys in here are making due in the meantime.

@pinbsallw – Thank you for the work around.

Honestly I really thought the problem would be addressed in the update. I am dumfounded nothing has been addressed in the update. The images are not something I linked. It is the NextGEN Gallery program that does the magic. Everything has worked for 5 years until the WP update to 4.5 . Then all hell broke loose and the plug in is garbage. Im working on my own setup, but time is rare. But I have removed all my images and will display the monthly magazine in my own way. NextGEN Gallery has offered no help and really reminds me of buying a used car. Once you bought, they don’t know who you are.

Did your update. more problems. https://parentingplus.com/past-issues/nggallery/image/3210 click on an image and it should inlarge, instad it reverts back to the page and nothing opens up. Ugg! Please Pleasew fix this Please.

@edmonds6458 – I would suggest revisiting the idea of a possible conflict especially with the reference to the older version of the theme generator in your page source code you are using. Otherwise, please send us a Bug Report (https://imagely.com/report-bug/ … please reference this topic) so we can get a better look under the page at your site.

Please include as many details as you can about your site and the issue at hand so we can move on this as fast as possible.

    Thanks!

    – Cais.

I just upgraded today and no longer have the issue.

When I get a chance I will check it out. I gave up on this plug-in a while ago. I still use it for some things. Lack of customer service really put a negative thought in my mind.

https://parentingplus.com/ go to the tab “Past Issues” click on any past issue it will open to all past issues click on any page (image) and it is supposed to enlarge so you can read. instead it takes you back to “Past Issues” Now try and open anything in “Past Issues” nothing happens. That is our problem. Before the wordpress update it all worked great. This has been a mess for months. Any chance of it ever working right again?
