Problems after 3.1.1 upgrade, can't access other pages

    I don’t know if it’s coincidental, but after updating my WP MU site to 3.1.1, I also changed to a new theme. Now I can’t get to my other pages. The url changes for example: mysite/about, but it doesn’t display my “about” page. Same with the rest of the other pages. I’ve even tried going back to my original theme and still no go? My pages are still there. Even tried creating a new page, won’t display that either? Help.

  • Assuming you updated from WPMU version 2.9.2 to 3.1.1? If so, you need to look at updating your .htaccess file.

    Hi Tim,
    No actually I was updating from 3.1.

    Go to your Settings -> Permalinks and click Save. See if that helps.

    Thanks so much for sticking with me. I appreciate folks like you who help noobs like me. When I become proficient to some degree, I will definitely pass the help along to someone else.

    Your suggestion might have worked but I ended up performing a manual re-install of 3.11 by following these instructions:

    De-activated all my plugins and started them all up again. And it fixed it. What was fixed? Not really sure. But it’s working now!

    It was probably a plugin that didn’t like the update. Sometimes they do that, and I wish I knew why.
