• Alright I got my blog working perfectly. Whoops, what’s that, It’s redirecting to localhost! That’s no good! So, I’ve tried my normal trick of remove the URi to make it work. And that doesn’t work one bit.

  • What do you mean remove teh URI? From where?

    Under the general settings, /wp-admin/options-general.php.

You cannot remove it… just change it.

And if you leave it “localhost” – every machine on the WWW will think that themselves are the localhost ??

I can’t change it.. Well I can but I’ll never see it myself. Which means I couldn’t post at all… Ya see my point?

    No, I don’t.
You either have it as a local install (like I have on for testing/designing themes) – or you have it online for the public.

Well, see my local install is online, I’m running an IIS server for public acess, but the problem is that WordPress sets the internal URis to https://localhost/ which prevents others from acessing it. I’m able to use it, but if I set the URi to the web address, I cannot see it from my own computer.
