Problematic – Blocks Site Changes

  • This plugin is problematic. One of our clients uses this plugin. In making changes to the site it will suddenly and unexpectedly block attempts to save changes, view draft or publish a page. This plugin causes a losses in production time from its faulty performance. We will be deactivating and deleting this plugin tomorrow . . . and get back to being productive.

    For anyone reading this review and thinking that it’s legitimate, please understand that if this was a review where they said:
    “I had a problem. I read the supporting documentation (of which there is copious amounts). It still doesn’t work and I got no help from the developer after I asked them.“, that would be an entirely different story. We would support a review of this type in such cases.

    If it’s configured to block certain things, then this is what the plugin will do.

    If anyone is looking for a plugin that you just install with set-it-and-forget-it-security, then this plugin (and any other security plugin) is not for you. Security just doesn’t work that way.

    These are straight forward problems to resolve. But since you didn’t contact us for help before leaving this review, we can’t possibly help you.

    Not a helpful review at all for prospective clients.
