problema csv
-

Ciao Fabio
I’d like to take a look at the sample CSV but it’s expired or deleted. Can you please share a new CSV (making sure it doesn’t expire) with just the product having the issue, so that I can test it out with different software and see if I can replicate it?You can use a cloud solution such as Google Drive or Dropbox.
Thank you for your cooperation.

Hi there @hellsbrigade ??
As I was able to download, inspect, and verify all is good with the CSV file earlier on, I’d like to take a step back, and take another look at the original inquiry:
“Good morning, I would like to know why the exported CSV file generates anomalies such as indicating a value ‘4.2 instead of 4.2 for weight or counting 1kg as 100kg if opened with the default language set to Italian. However, if opened with the default language set to English, the problem occurs with prices.”
Gut feeling, this is probably to do with the way the machine you’re currently utilizing is set up. To clarify, the responses here, here, and here include code (as showcased in the screenshot below), that might be complicating things, undesirably.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

I imported the CSV file in Google Sheets but I can’t replicate the
‘5.4
you see under “Peso (kg). This leads me to believe it’s a problem with the application you’re using.Google Sheets

Test with a different device or spreadsheet program. More likely this is due to a misconfiguration or the software not being up to date.
Feel free to reach out of you have any questions.
Hello @hellsbrigade,
the problem occurs with openoffice libreoffice as well as office2022
Thanks for the update!
I suggest using an alternative CSV viewer. My colleagues and I have already demonstrated this doesn’t happen with Google Sheets, but you can also use other options like Microsoft Excel (the online version is free). :?)
Let us know if you have any other questions!” il problema si presenta con openoffice libreoffice oltre che con office2022 è microsoft excel “
Hi @hellsbrigade,
This could be due to the way these applications are interpreting the CSV file. You could try changing the import settings of your CSV file in these applications. For instance, in Excel, you can select “Data” > “From Text” and then specify the delimiter and encoding.
If the issue persists, I suggest you try using Google Sheets to edit your CSV file.
Please let us know if you need further assistance. We’re here to help!
WooCommerce, by default, uses periods (.) as decimal separators in product weights. If your CSV files are using commas (,), you might encounter issues during the import process.
However, you can change the decimal separator while importing from CSV. While importing using the WooComerce import option, click on “Show Advanced Settings” and change the CSV Delimiter to (,) if that is your preference.

If still the issue still continues, I recommend using WP All in All import, Product CSV Import Suite, or Import Export Suite for WooCommerce plugin. These plugins provide an advanced option to import, merge, and export products and variations to and from WooCommerce using a CSV file.
I hope this resolves your issue. Let us know how that goes.
Hi there!
Thank you for your patience.
I want to take a step back and ask if it’s possible to send us a video showing how you export the products and what you see when you open the downloaded CSV file. (The video you shared doesn’t show the downloaded CSV file.)
Also, I want to ask about this screenshot: https://d.pr/i/x1pmps. Are you using a specific software here to do that?
Finally, please note that you can change the decimal separator in WooCommerce > Settings > General: https://d.pr/i/UgJg1h
