Problema con WP – No veo mi blog/web

  • Hola,
    Tengo cargados y he publicado varios posts asi como algunos anuncios, header, etc… desde WordPress, sin embargo cuando tecleo mi url en el navegador me sale una pagina de error ( default) proviniente de mi proveedor de hosting ( hostgator).
    El dominio lo contrate con NameCheap.
    He seguido los pasos que se me indican en cuato a la cofiguracion de DNS, etc…
    ?Que puede estar ocurriendo??tengo que hacer algo desde WordPress para que suba todo correctamente aparte de darle a “Pulbicar”?

    ?Alguien me puede echar un cable?

    My questions:

    1) Is WordPress installed in the correct directory?
    2) How was WordPress installed (Automatic / Manual)
    3) Have you deleted the Hosting company’s temporary files?
    4) How does you .htaccess file look like?

    1) Yes, I think so
    2) I dindt have any options for choosing. I wrote the domain and the directory and I decided my username, password and some contacto infomation ( email, site mail, description….). At the end I had the opcion Install WorPress and I did it. I use WP with no problem….the only one is I cant see may webpage when a type my url…
    3) No, I dont know where they are…..
    4) I dont know what ” .htaccess” is…

    The only way to confirm is to FTP to your server and check. Alternatively you can try the manual WordPress installation:

    WordPress is not installed. That is a temporary page and you can delete that and try to re-install wordpress. If you still have issues, you can follow the instructions on the link I posted earlier.

    I am not sure what Esmi will recommend…

    FTP into your site (or use whatever file management application your host provides) & delete the index.html file in your domain’s root folder.
