Hi. I am getting the following error on my jetpack when in the WP admin dashboard:

“There seems to be a problem with your connection to WordPress.com. If the problem persists, try reconnecting.”

I’ve tried many of the recommended solutions such as: Restoring the connection, disconnecting/reconnecting, turning off all plugins except woocommerce & jetpack, clearing cache, verifying the install via the jetpack debugger site, removing jetpack plugin and reinstalling.

Also my woocommerce mobile app has stopped connecting because somehow it needs jetpack to work.

    Please help.

At least according to tests from our end, Jetpack is working properly at that site now.

Are you still having trouble with this?

I am still getting the message:

There seems to be a problem with your connection to WordPress.com. If the problem persists, try reconnecting.

Do you have any advice on what do to to resolve this?

    Hi there,

I suggest reinstalling Jetpack by following these instructions:

    https://jetpack.com/support/reconnecting-reinstalling-jetpack/#reinstalling-jetpack

Let me know how that goes.

Yes I’ve actually tried deactivating/deleting the plugin and reinstalling it multiple times (and a few other things listed above). I did it again just now, same issue. The “my plan” box on my admin section of the site just pulses white/grey and the aforementioned reconnect message is still up above.

First, please make sure that your browser is up to date: https://browsehappy.com/

If it is not, please try updating your browser or switching to a different browser.

If it is, please do these two things:

    1. Try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies.

    2. Try with all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily disabled.

Please let us know how each step goes for you, and which browser (and version of) you’re using if you’re still having trouble.

    Hi, here is the update:

? Google Chrome is up to date
    Version 84.0.4147.125 (Official Build) (64-bit)

? Opera is up to date
    Version:70.0.3728.106

? I cleared my cache/cookies for all time

    ? I’ve tried disabling all Chrome add-ons

I still get the same thing. I also tried deactivating and reactivating Jetpack again. Could it be there are 2 Jetpack accounts or something and it’s not reaching the right one? How could I verify this?

Do you have any additional security software like an anti-virus/malware installed? If you do disable them temporarily and try connecting again.

Hi Fotis. I’m not sure if you saw my question or not, but could it be there are 2 Jetpack accounts or something and it’s not reaching the right one? How could I verify this?

I disabled my anti-virus software, that didn’t do anything. I also tried from my mobile device with no result.

No, you can disconnect the site and reconnect to any WordPress.com account.

Do you see the blank screen on _all_ devices? If so, which versions of WordPress and Jetpack are you running?

    Thread Starter Kumi

    (@imuk3)

    Ok.

    I’m running WordPress 5.4.2.

I see a site stats section that has a spinning/loading icon. I get this on my MacBook Pro and my iMac, Chrome and Opera.

On my Pixel 3 the mobile version of the admin area via Chrome has the same “Restore Connection” message, I try to do that every time. On this version the “My Plan” area is blank and pulsing a grey box as if it’s trying to load something there.

    Any change under WordPress 5.5?

    Thread Starter Kumi

    (@imuk3)

I haven’t upgraded yet. Some of our plugins aren’t guaranteed to work and we need to remake our test server. Maybe that upgrade will fix it?

    Hi, its Bilawal.
I am also facing the same issue just like Kumi. Even tried all the method but it is working fine on Android. Also i am using Latest version of WordPress (5.5) and Google Chrome. Tried all the above methods but didnt worked. Is there any other to solve the problem or i think it is the Jetpack Version Fault??

    (@imuk3)

@bilawalsarfraz it’s interesting that yours works on Android. I’m going to move up our WP 5.5 upgrade to see if that helps us out. Thanks for chiming in.

Well wait I think there is a bug in Jetpack.
