Problem with WP Photo Album Plus

This file has only 1461 lines, so you can not have an error on line 2299

Delete the plugin and re-install a fresh download

Another question: how did you get the plugin dir name being wp-photo-album-plus-bak instead of wp-photo-album-plus?

Hello Jacob:

The hosting company renamed the WPPA plugin so I could access WordPress. I changed the name back this morning.

The 2299 line number error was generated by word press. I did attempt to “fix” the file, but that was after seeing the error. In Dreamweaver, there is a line 2299. The file should be unchanged.

QUESTION: If I reinstall the WPPA plugin, will we lose the associated database (all the created albums).

You can delete the plugin, you will loose nothing, no photos no settings, nothing
