Problem with wordpress migration (urgent)
-
A few days ago I moved my wordpress blog https://www.zmemusic.com from the steadfast.net hosting service (they have H-Shepere control panel), to a VPS at https://www.knownhost.com (they have cpanel). I uploaded the .tar.gz archive of the blog and decompressed it with putty. After that I made a new database and username and then uploaded the database backup, and in the end I reconfigured the wp-config.php, to matche the new settings. The blog currently is up and running, but there’s a few “minor” glitches that prove to be very impediment. For example when I upload a image I can only make it show it’s title or in full length, no thumbnail (see screenshot). If I try to browse through a photo that I uploaded before the migration I get the following error:
getimagesize(/hsphere/local/home/sharkyx/zmemusic.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/06/imagine.jpg) [function.getimagesize]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/zmemusic/public_html/wp-admin/upload-functions.php on line 8
Also check out what happen when I try accessing the blog’s contact page at https://www.zmemusic.com/contact. It uses a contact plugin, that calls some function I believe. Here’s the output error:
Fatal error: Cannot access empty property in /home/zmemusic/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 282
The blog is clearly keeping the old host’s pathways and I need them to correct it with the new one. Can anyone help me? I’ll supply with ftp, wordpress logins if needed. I need to get this finished before christmas, it’s pretty important. Thanks for your support in advance.
