Problem with woocommerce with free downloadable product

Hi, we run a sewing company and our main business is via TV shopping channels and our website. I am trying to set up a free downloadable product, but when it is added to the basket and checked out, all we receive via email is that there has been an order, what that order is and no customer details, the customer receives nothing at all. All the rest of the site is working fine, its just this free download. i am no expert and built our site with much help from the people on here.Any help much appreciated
