Hi, I’m having a problem with Woocommerce search results.

As in the photo, searching for the product by writing “MIU MIU”, among the search results, a product is shown that has nothing in common with the typed text. In fact it is a different brand from the one sought after.

How can I solve this problem?`

    Here the screenshot.

  • I had a quick look at your site and the product you have referenced. What I suspect is happening, in the Oakley product when “MIU MIU” is searched, it is search for “MIU” and in the Oakley product you have the word “premium” which is being caught by the “miu” search string.

Okay, I hadn’t thought of that. Thanks a lot for the answer.

Is there a way to make the search be exact match?

    Hello @francescocantinelli,

As mentioned in the reply above, any string that contains “miu” will return. For example, if a product contains premuim, chromium or didymium. An easy and simple workaround would be to use quotation marks, like this "MIU MIU".

    Hope this helps!
