Hi,

I have had a similar issue happen to me recently which I solved by installing a previous version of the database. I had believed that the issue was due to a database corruption when I transferred the server. The issue only happens in wp-admin and not on the frontend of the website where I get logged out every 5-10seconds.

However the same issue has happened again whilst updating products. I have not performed any database, plugin and theme updates. I have tried to disable the current theme to the basic wp-theme and have disabled all plugins except woo-commerce and the problem persisted. Once I disabled woo-commerce the problem was gone.

I cannot figure the issue and woo-commerce is the main plugin of the website, therefore I cannot work without it either.

Hi @cartaclaudio,

That does sound like a tricky one. Perhaps there is some corrupted data in the database from the earlier transfer that’s causing this issue.

Troubleshooting that could be a bit tricky. You mentioned this doesn’t happen when you disable WooCommerce. Does it happen when everything else is disabled but WooCommerce is active?

You might try resetting the user roles using one of the user role editing plugins out there. Perhaps there is an issue with these.

Hi Cara,

Thanks for the help. Apologies for the late reply. The issue seems to have been resolved when I reverted back to an earlier database version. I have not been able to identify where the corruption happened and in which table however I merged the orders, orders_meta, post and post_meta table to save the changes from being lost and that did not cause any conflicts.

Therefore I believe the issue must be in other tables.
