Problem with Widgets on Multisite

Not sure if this is entirely the same problem you purportedly resolved in 4.1.10 as i haven’t had the need to touch widgets until now but i think it still exists on multisite.
editing some widgets causes blank entries to be saved in the database as s:1:”0″; instead of s:0:””;
deleting certain widgets removes a whole collection of widgets from one of my overrides after which I’m unable to re-add any widgets to the sidebar.
Luckily my network is backed up regularly so it was just a matter of restoring options but was wondering if you can look into this asap?
