Problem with Wholesale Customer role

    I like the bundle of features of this plug-in! However, there is an issue I can’t solve, on a Woocommerce site: a page has been set up to be visible only to admins and the custom role “Wholesale Customer” (created by an extension called WooCommerce Wholesale Prices by Rymera).

    The protection is set to present the login dialog and then return to the protected page. If I login in as an admin, everything’s fine. If I try any user belonging to the Wholesale Customer role, the login just re-appears, as if I shouldn’t have access.

    @tutman – Interesting. I will try to duplicate this sometime this week in my test environment.

    Can you take some screenshots of your settings so I can try to get as close to your set up as possible?

    Also the WooCommerce debug text file info would be helpful.

    Will get this solved for you though. We definitely want maximum compatibility with WC and its addons. Especially as our other premium products come out (Forums, Front End Post Manager) as they would tie into WC well selling access to their functionality.

    IT WORKS! Turned out our user role permissions had gone mad. After a reset to core values using User Role Editor and re-activating everything that created custom roles and capabilities, I think it’s actually rolling along.

    Dang! Spoke to soon. Doesn’t work – fooled myself using wrong login and wishful thinking.

    @tutman – Does it work with other roles still, or is it not working at all?

    I haven’t tried making content available to other roles than the Wholesale Customer, but that content is visible to admins and Shop Owners, as it should. Wholesale Customers get stuck in a login loop (but are logged in at first attempt, not just allowed to see the page).
