Problem with “Visit Site” link

  • Hi,

    I am trying to build a site, I am using the latest version of wordpress.
    I have a plugin installed (Maintenance Mode & Coming Soon) to show the message “The site is down”, the problem is that when I want to Visit Site from Dashboard it shows the message “The site is down” and basically i can’t see what I am working on.
    I deactivated the plug ins and still the same message, I switched to different themes, and it’s the same thing.
    Does anybody know what I should do.

    So I believe with this plugin there are two settings. One is a maintenance mode and the other is a construction mode. Make sure maintenance mode is selected.

    Double check your user settings and make sure they are selected to admin. If they are great then go ahead and clear the cache.

    Also themes sometimes provide that same type of functionality. So double check your theme and make sure it doesn’t have a maintenance mode feature.

    I’ve had similar issues with this plugin before. So let me know if that works.
