We are using Woocommerce for our online store but our virtual/downloadable products are not working. We host our videos on Vimeo.com and post them on our product page as a downloadable/virtual product. We thought that the customer would click on “my downloads” in “my account and then they would be redirected to the video on Vimeo.com . We did test this and it worked however it has been brought to our attention that when a customer clicks the link they instead get a blank, unopenable film download onto their device, instead of being taken to our video on Vimeo.com . Could anybody please advise us on how to solve this issue?

Any chance you could paste the URL you’re using in your downloadable file inout field? I’d like to see what happens when someone clicks on it outside of WooCommerce as this might be related to Vimeo rather than WooCommerce itself ??

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
