Problem with variations

    Dear developers,
    thank you for plugin.
    I have some problems, may you help me?
    1) i create offer for variations product with some parameters (for example size and color), but offer creates for parent product (in offer management in product details i see parent sku and link to parent). I tried to use default theme, but it didn’t help =(
    2) The second is not problem, but may you advise me how i can change parameters in popup Make offer. For example – for my shop i use measurement calculator plugin and parameters looks like this:
    box – it’s 1 simple item
    area – how many sq m i have in the box
    price – price for sq m
    price_b – price for box
    If box consist 15 sq m customer can order only 15, 30, 45 sq m. I have all this functionallity, but may you advise please, how i can implement it in your plugin?

    1) We have not had any other reports of this, and we aren’t seeing it with our own tests. Are you using any sort of variation plugins or are you just using the built in WC functionality out of the box?

    2) This sounds like you need some customization done. We do have some hooks available in the plugin, but unfortunately I haven’t been able to fully document them. Are you familiar with extending WP plugins via hooks?

    1) Yes, for product page i’m using image swatches, woothumbs + measurement calculator. I think that problem can be with this calculator. Can you give me tips from wich point i can start search problem?
    2) I know how to use it, used some simple hooks before like like woocommerce_short_description, save_post etc, but i’m not really pro)

    UPD: i deactivated all plugins, turn on Twenty Fifteen theme, but it still make offer for parent product, not variation =(

    upd for question 1 – I tried to download previous version from github and noticed that variations works in ver 1.4.3, but stopped from version 1.4.5

    I’m sorry for the delay on this, but we have fixed this in our GitHub dev branch. The fix will be included in the 1.4.8 update that we will be releasing soon.
