    Hi,

I would like to create a product catalogue with your plugin.
I have an error when creating it: “Variation #486 of product #485 error: the field “description” in must not be empty.”
However I don’t have any variable product on my website, only “simple products”.
How is that possible that I have a variation if my product 485 is a simple product?
I tried to find this #486 but I don’t know how to find it to understand the problem.

    Could you please help me?

Thank you very much in advance for your help.

    Hi,

seems to be really strange. The query is done by the internal tool provided by woocommerce itself, so it should retrieve the products skipping the orphan variations and un-published products.

I need to ask you some info:
    – was the product 485 a variable product in the past?
    – could you give more info on how the product is configured? Is it virtual? Is it downloadable?
    – could you please tell me how the product catalog is configured?

Finally, you can also convert the product 485 as variable product and see if you see some variations on it. In case yes, remove them and convert it again as simple.

    Hi,

I discovered what happened in the meantime.
There were some “remainings” of variable products from the demo of my theme in the database.
I had to manually delete those remainings in the database and now it’s ok.

    Thank you very much.
