    From Version 0.9.97.3 of AMPforWP (Also in Version 0.9.97.4), I’m facing following issues on my website

    1. “Allow Comments” and “Allow Pingbacks” is unchecked by default when I open “Posts – Add New”. I need to manually tick theme everytime to allow comments.

    Note: I’m allowing comments in WordPress Settings – Discussion

    2. User A (Contributor) submits the post and User B (Administrator) will verify and publish the article.

    At wp-admin/edit.php – It is correctly showing post is submitted by User User A (Contributor)

    But when I open wp-admin/post.php?post=46342&action=edit it is showing the Author as User B (Administrator) and if I publish the article, it is getting published under User B (Administrator) instead of User A (Contributor)

    I need to manually change User and Allow comments, pingbacks every time I’m publishing/updating the article.

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • I also faced the same problem and had to roll back to the previous version (0.9.97.2) as a temporary measure, I wish the developer could take a look and fix this

    Anytime a post written by a different author is edited and published by an editor or admin, it automatically changes the name of the author to the last person that edited the post (ie the admin or editor)

    @ampforwp
    Someone from your team emailed me asking “If I’m still facing the issue”, I replied “YES” and I didn’t get any response again.

    Version 0.9.97.5 fixed the “Allow comments” issue but it is still showing the wrong author.
