I created 4 test events, each on the 1st of the month from 10/22 thru 1/23. At first, the events for 10/1/22 and 11/1/22 weren’t showing on the frontend at all. I found that by changing the start date to 11/6/22 or later, I could get it to display and then change it back. As you can see from my link, everything looks fine in List view, but in Month or Day view, the events still appear on 11/30/22, which is the date I randomly changed them to in order to get them to initially display.

WP v6.0.2, plugin v6.0.0.1, tested for theme/plugin conflicts and found none, no errors in debug log, and no caching active at server- or site-level. I’ve tried replicating this on 2 other sites (same WP/plugin versions, 1 on same server, 1 on different server), but I haven’t been able to.

  • Hey Ethan,

    Thank you for reaching out.

This feels like a caching issue. Since you are using Cloudways, would you mind making sure that you have gone through the following KB article?

If that doesn’t fix it, it’s possible that there is some form of customization interfering. In that case, we recommend going through the steps outlined here.

Let us know how that goes!

    Hi Geoff,

I already ruled out caching (Breeze, server varnish, and redis are all disabled). I also disabled all other plugins and changed themes to make sure it wasn’t conflicting with something.

I messed around with things a bit more and got this line in the debug log from creating a new event:
tribe-canonical-line channel=default level=error source="The start_date and start_date_utc has a conflict when using the timezone of the event. : The end_date_utc does not match the value of end_date with the timezone." method="TEC\Events\Custom_Tables\V1\Models\Builder::upsert" line=307 model="TEC\Events\Custom_Tables\V1\Models\Event"

Can you please advise on what this means? Time setting is UTC-6

Hi @ethanb40, sorry to hear about this. This seems to be a known issue with 6.0. About the error message: that is not about the timezone, but about the duration, the dates, AND the timezones not matching; We’ll fix that on the next update.

We also recommend changing that UTC offset-based time zone to a location-based one that matches your time zone, so it’ll avoid any issues like that in the future. Some users got the migration working properly by deleting the auto-draft events and emptying the trash.

You can wait for the next release and then try and migrate your events, and in the meantime, we recommend downgrading to the pre-6.0 version of the plugin.

Let me know if that helps.

    Best,
    Abz
