Problem with Twenty Thirteen variant theme: Mobile pulldown nav not working

    I just relaunched this website for a restaurant and I’m using a version of Twenty Thirteen I tweaked a bit. For some reason, on mobile, the pulldown menu-toggle navigation does not work or expand when you click on Menu or anywhere on that bar. I dropped the search portion of the bar, as we’re not going to use it. How can I get this back working?

    OK, I found the solution to this one. I went ahead and noticed the .site-main property had its position set to relative. Yes, I commented that out and the menu now works. Go figure.

    hey, i noticed you managed to create you own custom mobile theme using a twenty thirteen child theme, please help me! i can’t work out how to change mine at all (graphictoronto.com) on browsers i have my customised theme, but on mobile it turns into the default blue menu bar, twenty thirteen mobile site.

    I have tried creating my own @media rules, and scoured the functions.php but i just can’t see what im missing! please help!

    I’m checking my Samsung Galaxy and I don’t see what you’re talking about. But I did have another problem with a similar mobile site and I just played around with javascript turning scripts on and off until I found the culprit. Sure enough, there was a conflict. Might try that. Same thing with turning on and off plugins.

    thanks for your reply. I worked this out earlier today, it was just a jetpack mobile theme that was messing it all up, once i turned that off i saw all my changes. Thanks!

    See? I was pretty close!

    I found this out tonight. Apparently jetpack has a new feature to add a mobile theme. (Obviously for themes that aren’t responsive or have a mobile site.) This is turned on by default. Just go into the Jetpack settings and turn it off. Problem solved.
