Although I have been able to create pages using the transparent header and get them to display as I want, I have so far had no success with a single post. I created a post to illustrate the problem. The header is separate from the image that is supposed to sit behind it.

I created this post by first creating a template and then adding that template to the post. The template itself displays properly (it is a page template as I am using the free version of Elementor) but when added to the page, the trasnsparent header is not displayed properly.

I have enabled the transparent header in every place I could find and yet it does not work in the same way it does on a page.

I have hidden the post title and turned off all the post details that were originally appearing above the main image, but the header is still separate from the image.

The menu is present but, unless highlighted, is white on white, and so is invisible by default.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @tonyhost,

When the Transparent Header is enabled, if you would like to change the menu color, it needs to be done from the Transparent Header section on the Customizer.

Let us know if you need more help, otherwise please mark the topic as Resolved.

    Kind regards,
    Herman ??

You haven’t even bothered to read my post, have you?

Your lack of effort reflects very poorly on your company and its products.

I went to some trouble to create a post that is self-documenting. Had you bothered to read it, you would have seen that your answer is not relevant.

    Hi @tonyhost,

I am sorry if my previous response made you think I didn’t read your post. If I didn’t read your post, I don’t think I can respond. I am not a shaman ???♂? Maybe I didn’t understand your query correctly.

I read again your initial message, twice. So, you would like to make this Watford Community Wellbeing Club looks the same as the homepage?

On the Astra Meta Settings of Watford Community Wellbeing Club, pick Full Width / Contained under the Content Layout.

I hope I make myself correct right now.

    Kind regards,
    Herman ??

    Hi Herman,

Eureka!! I made that change and suddenly everything works perfectly.

Sorry for the tone of my earlier response – I’d tried every option I could think of and nothing worked, so I was getting really frustrated with it.

Thanks for your help. I’ll mark it as resolved now.

    Tony

Very pleased to know I can be a help! ??

No problem with the tone. All is cool, Tony ??

Well, feel free to start a new thread if there is anything else related to Astra we can help you with.

    Kind regards,
    Herman ??
