    Hey Guys,

I’m using the Libretto theme since 2018 & I love it! Since the last wordpress update (to 5.7?) I’ve got a problem with my title image. If I’m logged in an editor everything looks good. If I’m logged out (my live version) I only see the half title image. Another Problem: the title image overlaps the menu navigation. In every text, at every device except iPhone!

    Please see it here: https://soul-tales.de

Could somebody help me please? I’m using Libretto 1.0.9. It doesn’t work to install the new version 1.0.12. I become an error message: “there is no working plugin to install. The installation has been faild”

    Thank you & best regards!

    Hello there,

    Many thanks for reaching out.

Looking at the site, it looks like the CSS has been minified via the use of a plugin – is that correct?

If yes, that does have the potential to mess with a themes style sheet. Are you able to undo any work the minification has done and see if that behaviour persists?

    Many thanks in advance.

    Hello Adam,

thank you! Yes, I’ve just tried to help myself with an CSS code ;-). Now there is no CSS code but the problem is still there.

Also I could dowload the theme version 1.0.12. Would it help to aktivate the new theme or do you see some other problem with my website?

    Best regards
    Olga

    Hello Olga,

When I inspect element, I see the minified version of the CSS in use with the here: https://soul-tales.de/wp-content/cache/wpfc-minified/21ql2yxp/hupqc.css

At this point, I would perhaps recommend deactivating that plugin, and if the issue persists use a fresh copy of the theme that can be downloaded here: https://wordpress.com/theme/libretto > scroll down > download.

    I hope this helps!

Should I do any safetings und transfer background image & Co bevor aktivetion?

What do you mean exactly? Do you mean take a backup?

    Many thanks.

    Hi Olga,

No, the new version won’t change your site’s layout.

    Hey Guys,

now I’ve installed the new Libretto. Unfortunately, I still have a problem with the featured image on the mobile phone. When turning the smartphone (horizontal), the image overlaps the menu bar so that the navigation cannot be clicked on.

Also it does’t work with the background image in the Customize area: The background image is blurred respectively not visible on mobile.

    Thank you for your support!

    Best regards

    Hello Olga,

    Many thanks for reply.

Can I double check what devices you’re seeing this on please? The reason why I ask is that, after a certain point, the mobile menu toggle should kick in.

Are you seeing a mobile menu toggle?

    Many thanks in advance.

Hello Adam, the menu problem exists on the iPhone. I don’t know, if this Problem also exists on Android. And the background image is neither displayed correctly on the iPhone nor on the iPad.

On my PC everything is displayed correctly. Suddenly I can‘t send you some screenshots to visualise the problems.

    Thank you & best regards!

    Hello Olga,

Which model of iPhone are you using? Also can you tell me the browser in use please?

It’s possible to share screenshots via this tool here: https://snipboard.io/

    Many thanks.

    Hello Adam,

I’m using iPhone XS and Safari & Chrome. I shared screenshoots via snipboard:

So it looks like on mobile vertically: https://snipboard.io/Uimg3J.jpg
So it looks like on mobile horizontally: https://snipboard.io/yzKCW0.jpg

    Hello Olga,

I see this issue on my iPhone as well in Safari and Chrome, but I’m not able to spot what is causing the issue. If you temporarily turn off all plugins on your site, does the site behave as normal on your phone? I’d be curious to see if there is an issue with one of your other plugins conflicting.

If the issue goes away after turning off your plugins, you can switch them on one at a time (checking the site on your phone after activating each one) to see when the problem returns. When it does that will let you know that the last plugin you switched on is at issue.

If you try that, do you find that one of the plugins is conflicting? Thanks for the additional info!
