Problem with thumbnail crop position

  • Hi Gavick,

    I set the portfolio image dimension by 290 x 290 via Theme Customizer. The problem is that it crops those featured image in the center of the photo. I usually upload vertical portrait pictures and I don’t want the person’s head chopped off. ??

    No matter how I edit featured image through Media Library,or use third-party plugins, the frontpage portfolio thumbnails still crop the center part of the photos.

    I want to crop the top part or certain part of the picture rather than the default center part. How can I set it so that the the crop starts from the top of the photo?

    Hello,

    I afraid that it won’t be possible programatically – the only way can be manual image editing.
