    Hi,

    Since WooCommerce version 3.7.0 there is a problem with the translation of the emails sent to the admin of the webshop when a client makes an order.

    I have my website in 2 languages: French (which is the main language) and Dutch (which is the second language) (and the website is translated with WPML).
    When a client makes an order on the Dutch version of the website, I (as the admin of the website) received a “New order” email from WooCommerce which was entirely in Dutch.
    Now, since version 3.7.0 of WooCommerce, this email is sent to me in French, even if the client makes the order on the Dutch version of the website.

    Could you please resolve this problem ASAP and restore those emails in the correct language?

    Hi @fotske, this is most likely a problem with the way WPML is interacting with WooCommerce. Could you test how it works without WPML – when you make a new order, does the email come in French? If so then WooCommerce is working correctly.

    Of course when I make a new order without WPML the email will be sent in French since the website is in French.

    I already contacted WPML but I did not receive an answer from them…

    I found that this is a known issue with WPML. Please take a look at this article which has a suggested workaround: https://wpml.org/errata/an-order-completed-e-mail-is-sent-to-the-purchasing-user-in-the-default-site-language/
