• Hello,

I have a problem with the profile page in desktop mode.

Profile picture and bio text shift from one screen width.

    Which means :
    1) the profile picture loses its vertical offset (-nn px) and is found below the profile picture and above the menu bar (about, posts, comments).
    2) the text of the bio loses its left margin, it uses the full width and is found under the profile photo.

I use the default form, without changes. I use DIVI, but the page is not modified and therefore DIVI is not used.

I can clearly see in the code inspector the initial positioning parameters which position well and then disappear when expanding the window. The CSS changes, but I don’t understand why and how.

All other pages/forms are working fine.

Thank you in advance for any help on this weird behavior.

    Cordially.

Can you please share screenshots of what you see on your end? You can use imgur.com to share screenshots here.

    Thank you for your reply,

Here is the Imgur.com link: https://imgur.com/a/dbonbk2

Image 1 shows with a small width of the browser, image 2 after a larger width.

Note that it is first the text that loses its left margin, then by widening a little more the image loses its positioning.

Don’t we say that the night brings advice!? ??

I “passed” the profile page in edition with DIVI. Nothing modified, just save the text module with the shortcode, save the page, and the… Miracle, everything works fine.

Studying the code a little more, I noticed that the concern was on breakpoints, 800px, 960px (specific UM classes) and more.
Cerla was deteriorating at every point.
The site switched to desktop mode at 981px but not the form ??.
It looks like it kept the width of the form for its break.
I lost the left margin of the bio (with or without the name) at 800px and the positioning of the profile picture at 960px (for the form, the site was at 981+px).
While the site was in desktop mode (as seen with the non-hamburger menu), the form was in mobile mode (more or less even I would say).

This is therefore solved simply by using DIVI for editing the page, weird, I would rather think that the problems were using DIVI that they could arise. Especially since all the other UM pages work well and are not edited with DIVI.

In short, everything is fine now. To see at UM if there is an explanation for this. For my part, I have reached my limits ??.

    Cordially.
