Problem with the plugin, "Posted by" has disappeared

    I think it is single.php that is the problem here.

    Here is the code that was replaced:
    <?php printf( __( 'Posted by %s on', 'linen' ), get_the_author()); ?>

    How can I implement that into the code again?
