  • Hi @josfeal,

403 is a forbidden error, you may not have sufficient permission to the App you created. Please check the Client ID, Client Secret and the Google account you’re trying to authorize have access to it. Alternatively, you can follow our the step by step tutorial again.

    I hope this helps!

Hi again, we have reviewed everything, and everything is in order, and it gives us the same error. What is the possible solution?

I have follow the step by step…

    Hi @josfeal,

Based on what you’ve tried so far, my suspicion is that you’re running into some sort of conflict on your webhost’s server (where your site is hosted).

Both the Other SMTP mailer and the Google mailer (more specifically, Google’s API behind this mailer) are most strongly impacted by server configuration issues because of the specific way they work.

However, if you’d be willing to try any of our other mailer options (Mailgun, SendGrid, Pepipost, Sendinblue) these all use a different method that is rarely impacted by the configuration of a specific hosting server. You can find details on each of these mailers, as well as links to setup guides, here.

    I hope this helps!

From my hosting are asking for more informacition about the error, to fix it. It’s urgent…

Hi @josfeal – When you get a chance, could you please share the details or screenshot of the 403 error message you’re getting? This can be due to security prevention from your hosting company. Most probably, the mod_security apache module, it filters out certain requests and redirects to 403 page.

    Thanks!

Hi @josfeal – We haven’t heard from you in about a week, so I’m going to go ahead and mark this ticket resolved. If you still have questions, though, please feel welcome to continue the conversation.
