Problem with the opt-out banner

Hello,

I have a problem with the opt-out banner as I sad in the Title.
So my problem is that the banner reappears every time I reload the Page even if I clicked on it to opt-out.

I don’t know if I just forgot to set something up because I’m preaty new to WordPress or if this is a bug.

Does somebody has an idea what the problem could be?

EDIT:
Problem solved by my self.
The site is using jquery 1.4.3, because the last admin of this site didn’t updatet it for some reason, and a function in this plugin was first introduced in jquery 1.7.
