Problem with the new 2.3.8 version

    Another problem with the update 2.3.8. This message comes up in the widget area:

    “Notice: Function wp_enqueue_script() was called incorrectly. “wp-editor” script should not be enqueued together with the new widgets editor (wp-edit-widgets or wp-customize-widgets).”

    Once I deactivated the plugin the issue went away. Luckily I only updated this on a couple of sites. Could you please look into this?

    Hi – Thanks for the report! I wanted to confirm that we can duplicate ths. As you noted, it shows only on the widget editor screen. We’re working on a fix and will share updates here when we have them.

    Update: I’ve pushed a fix for this. It will go out in the next release. I’m still trying to decide if this fix itself is worth a small release or if I’ll save the fix and package with other fixes or improvements in a week or two. If you have strong preferences to release a fix now, let me know and I can do so.

    I am fine with waiting but I am not the only one using this plugin. It didn’t cause too many problems on the fort end and I caught it before I updated too many websites. I so much appreciated you and your plugin that I am fine with waiting.

    The way you jumped on this and fixed the issue says a lot about you and how much you care. It gives me a lot of faith in you and your plugin.

    I have updated all of our sites and everything is working perfectly.
