Problem with the backups

    hello

    about my website

    I would like to understand how updraft plus works because it seems that makes my site very loaded in GB while I was sending the site to a remote location like Google drive
    is this the right solution to lighten your site and especially why are there backups in the root of my site when I send the backup remotely?

    Hi,

    If you want to delete local backups, you can check “Delete local backup:” option from UpdraftPlus > Settings > Show expert settings. This will delete the local backups and keep files only on your remote storage.

    Hi,

    This option is checked by default, if you have this checked but UpdraftPlus is still saving the backups to your hosting then there may be a problem with your backups, can you send us the backup log?

    Can you also post a screenshot of your backups on your hosting?

    for me, my hosting company told me that updraft plus needed more resources and that I had to upgrade (even if updraft plus was not automated)

    I think it’s better to solve every problem in every thread
