Problem with the Addresss

    Hello . The upper site is not published yet, but i have the problem with an address in Cyprus specifically.You can easily regenerate the problem also .
    So here is the address. Ειρ?νη? 4, Αγλαντζι?, Nicosia 2107, Cyprus
    It is in Greek.I also tried with latin characters but i get a wrong address that is at least 5-6 blocks from the correct one.Do you have any thoughts why this happens?

    Hi,
    Do you get the same wrong position when you enter the address into maps.google.com? The general advice I can give is that you should try writing the address a bit differently. For instance instead of NY – New York. Your address seems short enough so not quite sure what could be written differently ?? Also try finding a business nearby on Google Maps and see what they say – what the address is.

    I have checked in maps.google.com and i found out that there are 2 Locations close enough that i must choose . So when i choose the second one it goes to the correct street. but still it can not specify the number.Later on i did another test and i saw that it just gives me one address , the wrong one again in google maps . I tried another address as you suggested but still i didn’t get any more results. This might be google’s problem? Any thougths?

    P.S: A work around that i use at the moment is with the coordinates system. But inside the lightbox i still get the address in cordinates. Is there any way to write the address inside the lightbox maunally?

    We really don’t have any control over this ?? We just use the address you input and Google provides the map. However, you’re not the first person with this kind of problem and everyone so far managed to fix it with such tinkering – finding closeby businesses, changing the address a bit, so try messing with it a bit more. Unfortunately, I don’t have a better answer. Sorry ??

    Well i tried everything and i still got a dead end . I can’t get the number appear correctly.Now i get the street correvtly but with no number.Any thoughts about that? Or it is still problem of the google maps?.

    Unfortunately, it’s google maps ?? Did you try lat/lng instead of address?

    Yes i didi that. The pin is placed ok but the address is not displayed in the lightbox. That’s why i asked if i could display the address manually . Any thougths?

    No ?? Can’t mix & match ?? The lat/lng fix is … a last resort. Sorry.

    Ok. Well i used the link to Url method also. So now I will not get the lightbox but i will redirect them to google maps exact spot of the buisness. Is there any way to open the bage in taget _blank method?
