Problem with template

  • I have a page on my site for testimonials. The testimonials are displayed down the page. I want to add some text and heading to the top and bottom, and possibly an image, but to do this I need to edit the template.php file as any block I add do not show. I would like to add this using blocks in WP 5.xx. Does anybody know of any websites out there that will help me with this please.

    What happens if you add any text above your testimonials block? Do that appear?

    Also, I would like to know how you have called the testimonial block? i.e., for example, is there one block for each testimonial?

    There is not a block for the testimonials. There is only a block for the heading at the top of the page, which I can change. I have tried adding a paragraph block but nothing displays on the page. I think it is the template php I need to edit.

    If you don’t mind, can you share the screenshot on how your reviews/testimonial page is managed in Admin so we can get better clarity and see how best we can deal with this problem you are facing.
