• I have the following problem

    I have configured fluent crm and wp fusion.

    and it happens that I have configured so that when they finish a course in learndash a tag is applied to them.

    Now, the user “x” finishes the course, I go to see their profile and it does not appear that they have the tag.

    Now if I press the “resync tag” button and restart the page, the tag appears.

    How could I make this happen automatically? Or what is happening that does not happen automatically?

    Is there a time it takes to resync the user’s tags?

    Since the idea is that after they finish the course, they remain with this tag so that they do not lose access and can access new material.

    What could be failing or how could I configure it so that the tags are automatically synchronized after the actions?

    Hey @recuerdaclub ,

    The sync is supposed to be automatic.

    Can you try going into FluentCRM and manually adding a tag to a contact?

    Then, check their WordPress user record. Does the tag appear there?

    If it works in this case then we can see if there might be an issue with FluentCRM’s LearnDash integration.

    It seems that I tried something else and it worked:

    • the learndash tag when the course starts appears automatically when the user signs up for the course.
    • but the tag when the course ends never appeared.
    • then I configured fluent crm to apply the tag when the course ends
    • this worked but when I went to the wordpress profile it didn’t appear instantly, I had to press resync tags for it to appear.

    so what could be causing one tag not to sync right away but the first one does?

    What happens when you manually apply a tag to the user’s contact record in FluentCRM? Does it sync back automatically?

    Do you see any activity in the logs https://wpfusion.com/documentation/getting-started/activity-logs/ around the time when the course ends?

    And, just to confirm, you are referring to the tags here: https://fluentcrm.com/docs/learndash-integration-with-fluentcrm/#tag-settings-in-learndash , correct? “Apply tags on course enrollment” and “Apply tags on course completion”?

    It’s probably related to the priority of actions after the course is completed. If LearnDash redirects the student before WP Fusion detects the tag change, this would cause it not to sync automatically. We’ll need to know your exact setup so we can copy it and see if we can fix it.
