Problem with sub-categories

  • Not sure if I’m understanding correctly how PolyLang works but I seem to have a problem with sub-categories.

    I have 3 languages on my site. I though I would translate post categories and they’d appear like this:

    News (english)
    — Gite News
    — Local News
    Actualités (french)
    — Actualités du Gite
    — Actualités locale
    Nieuws (Dutch)
    — G?te Nieuws
    — Lokaal nieuws

    Trouble is when I create the sub-categories only one language appears as a sub-category in that language, a third one always appears with no parent or just under the english parent. Then, if I try and add a parent only the english parents appear like this.

    News (english)
    — Gite News
    — Local News
    — Actualités du Gite
    — Actualités locale

    Actualités (french)

    Nieuws (Dutch)
    — G?te Nieuws
    — Lokaal nieuws

    Am I doing something wrong or mis-understanding something?
