Problem with Stripe

    First and foremost, I am a newbie helping out my pastor friend. I’m having a problem with Stripe on WP. I used the plug in, “Donation Form Block For Stripe”. Everything appears to be set up correctly, however, whenever I switch to live mode from test mode the whole block/plug in disappears? I have tried everything from disconnecting from Stripe and reconnecting it. Nothing seems to work. Any of you guys had this issue? If so is there a resolution to fix this problem.

    Hi @calvinb – It sounds like a JavaScript error is happening by the way you describe “the whole block disappears”. It’s pretty difficult to diagnose that issue without seeing it first-hand, unfortunately. Since the issue happens when switching from test to live mode, do you know if the Stripe account you connected is set up properly to accept live payments?

    Thank you very much for your reply. Yes the account is set up correctly. To test that theory I used my personal account and still had the same issue.

    Hey @calvinb – that’s strange. I just checked out https://calvinbausleyministries.com/donate/ and was able to donate $1 and it seemed to work fine.

    When you say “the whole block/plug in disappears” do you mean in the block editor or on the actual website?

    From my donor perspective test, it seemed to be working great.

    Let me know if you have any more info to help track down the issue ??

    Thank you everybody for all of your help. The Stripe donation block just started working out of the blue. No idea why.
