Problem with setting the blog homepage

    Using WP 2.8.5. I have created the blog and went to change the homepage to a static one (something I have done dozens of times before). But when I tried I get this error:

    Warning: these pages should not be the same!

    But the pages are not the same!The page works perfectly when I call it directly, but I need it to be recognised as the blogs homepage.

    Any ideas on where this has gone wrong?

    Seemed to be a conflict with WP Multi Language plugin. Deactivated the plugin, set the front page, reactivated the plugin and everything seems to work fine now…
