Problem with setting homepage

    Hi,
    i was just setting up my new website and wanted to set the blog- and home page.
    the only thing is. If I try to set it in settings>read>set static page, then save the adjustments. The homepage is set to a random standard page: no text and the menu doesn’t work either.

    However, if you try to navigate to one of the other pages:
    https://www.comanchebrand.com/contact/ For example,
    everything shows up just fine, including the menu

    Im using a theme called salient (i already used it for two other websites and there it works just fine)

    is there anyone who knows what’s going on?

  • Can you give the DIRECT link to the page that you’re trying to set as the homepage?

    its comanchebrand.com/home
    but as soon as i chance the home page to this one in the settings, it loses the /home
