Problem with search engine
-
Hello,
Hello, I have a problem with the search engine in my store, when I enter a given phrase, no product appears.

Hello ?? @lanter56,
Thank you for reaching out.
I understand you’re having issues with the search function on your store not showing any products.
To start troubleshooting, please ensure all your products are correctly indexed. You can do this by navigating to WooCommerce > Status > Tools and clicking on ‘Regenerate’ under the Product lookup tables.
Try this and let us know how it goes.
Hello again,
Thanks for your reply @ckadenge . I have done the above steps but it still does not work.
Thank you for sharing an update with us @lanter56.
As a next step, could you please run a conflict test by temporarily deactivating all plugins, leaving only WooCommerce as the active plugin, then try searching for any products to see if the issue persists? If it does, change to a default theme like Storefront or Twenty Twenty-Four and see if the issue persists.
You can find more details on running a conflict test here.
Looking forward to your reply.
Hello,
I disabled plugins on my theme, unfortunately there was still a problem with the search engine. Then I changed the theme to Twenty Twenty-Four and then the search engine worked. Should I write to the theme owner about this?
One more question.
After returning to the original theme and reactivating the plugins, one error appeared. Some of the icons are much larger than before and at the beginning of the webpage I have a few lines of such a message
“Warning: Undefined array key “file” in /home/platne/serwer273724/public_html/autoinstalator/website/wordpress65043/wp-includes/media.php on line 1749″
Do you know how to fix it ?
Hi @lanter56,
Then I changed the theme to Twenty Twenty-Four and then the search engine worked. Should I write to the theme owner about this?
Indeed, it would be a good idea to contact the theme owner or developer about this issue. They will likely have the best insight into what might be causing the problem and how to fix it.
I have a few lines of such a message
The warning message you’re seeing is a PHP notice typically related to a plugin or theme that may be using outdated code.
The quickest way to resolve this would be to update all your plugins, themes, and WordPress to the latest version. If the issue persists, you might need to do another conflict test to identify the plugin or theme causing the issue.
I hope this helps.
I have one more question. I deactivated the plugins as you wrote then, restored them again but I have a problem with some products because I do not want to load photos additionally. There is a problem with restoring the alidropshiping plugin because it does not appear again in the cockpit and the home page disappeared and a connection with the home hyperlink appeared, I removed it and now I have a connection to the blog.
Hi @lanter56,
I understand you’re facing issues with the Ali drop-shipping plugin not showing in your dashboard. Just to clarify, this forum is meant for general support with the core functionality of WooCommerce itself. For?assistance with the Ali drop-shipping plugin, I recommend reaching out to their support team for further assistance with that.
I hope this gets you going.
Cheers!
I have a problem that my website has not returned to its original state. After your persuasion I deactivated the plugins and now I do not have access to the main page. What does the alidropshiping plugin have to do with this?
Let me explain the situation to you. I wrote to you for help. You could have told me to make a backup before deactivating and reactivating the plugins. In my humble opinion. The lack of access to the main page, the removal of these images and the problem with connecting to the alidropshiping plugin are due to your advice.
Now I have to figure out how to fix this…
Hello lanter56,
Thank you for your reply.
I understand you switched your theme to default for a test and then switched back to your original theme. After you cannot access the main page.
To clarify, can you access the main page by going to Pages in the dashboard?
Could you tell me the name and URL of the theme you are using?
This will help me guide you accurately. As general advice, I recommend having a backup plugin and setting it to make site backups daily.
Looking forward to your response. ??
