Problem with search box in Internet Explorer

Hi,

Could you show me a screenshot of the ‘smaller box’?

The icon isn’t actually clickable btw, it’s purely decoration and doesn’t have any behaviour attached to it on click.

You can upload a screenshot to dropbox or something like that.

I’m on a Mac so don’t have easy access to IE. I’m assuming that the :focus styles are causing the second box, a screenshot would confirm. If so I can give you some CSS to tweak that.

The smaller box is obscuring the main search box so you can’t actually see what you’re typing.

Which version of IE is this? Do you see the same thing on our demo?

It’s fine on the demo site. For some reason it’s only a problem on my site.

It’s version 10 of Internet Explorer.

There must be a conflict with the CSS on your site. Could perhaps be cause by a plugin you’ve installed, try deactivating them one by one to find the culprit.
