Problem with scheduled sale price and regular price

Hi,

We are experiencing an issue with scheduled sale price in variations (variable products). When a sale price is set for a period of time, and then it is automatically deleted by the end date, the sale price is correctly removed from the variation, but the regular price for the product is not updated and the sale price still appears in the general information.

We have investigated how to fix it temporarily and when the regular price is set again, for instance, using the bulk editing option in Variations -> Set regular prices then the regular price is updated correctly. But this is a manual action, the plugin should update the regular price at the same time the sale price is removed.

The website is sarahworld.com and the plugin version is the latest one, 2.6.8. The theme is Impreza, and we have changed to another theme to check incompatibilities, the same issue happens.
