  • We’d like to add onto this issue and we think we know why.

This is what the console shows when the page is loaded, it’s probably needed in the save process?

Mixed Content: The page at 'https://www.lesinfluenceurs.ca/wp-admin/admin.php?page=info_ffwd' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure script 'https://malsup.github.io/jquery.form.js'. This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS.

Nothing should ever be HTTP assuming the host is well configured. Strict validations drop that jQuery form library and could cause errors such as the one we’re both having here.

    Dear @bapakrob,

We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Please, go to Facebook Feed > Options and press Uninstall button.

Afterwards, please go again to Options and login to get new access data.

Now, when yo try to create the feed you should not have any issues.

P.S. please make sure you are the creator of the page you are trying to display.

Thanks and have a nice day!

    Dear @magikweb,

Please go to wp-admin> Settings > General and make sure the URLs are set to https.

If this does not work, please check whether you have SSL plugin installed and deactivate it.

Thanks and have a nice day!

It’s not a ssl issue. That’s working fine.
I completely uninstalled the plugin. Waiting for the owner to authenticate it now.
Perhaps a regular deactivation > remove doesn’t clear all data?

    It works again! Thanks.
Can you say what is wrong with the latest, current post? We see a location marker, but the Facebook post has photos.

I agree with you, the WordPress is SSL-enabled. It’s a library loaded by the plugin in its “info_ffwd” page (edit page) that is not using HTTPS.
    Keep us updated @bapakrob.

    @magikweb this did the thing:

“Please, go to Facebook Feed > Options and press Uninstall button.

Afterwards, please go again to Options and login to get new access data.

Now, when yo try to create the feed you should not have any issues.”

We’ll try it! Frist, we gotta see what sites are using this plugin since we’re on WPMU. Thanks for the follow-up, hopefully we come back with good news too.

Sadly, it didn’t work for us. The same issue persists with no details whatsoever. :/
Details in the console would have been useful. See screenshot: https://prnt.sc/mk51ti

    Anything we could try?

    Dear @magikweb,

Are you using the latest version of the Facebook Feed plugin?

Are you the creator of the page you are trying to run?

    Thank you!

    Dear @bapakrob,

So for now, the issue is fixed? Can you please confirm?

    Thank you!

    Hi Suzie,
Partly, the feed is working. But as you can see I don’t understand why the location marker is showing. Check at https://martincoers.nl/ please. Scroll down.

I apologize for hijacking this topic. I will open a new one to avoid confusion and refer to this one for previous posts.

    Hi @bapakrob!

    Sorry for the delayed response.
Unfortunately, I could not find the location marker on your Facebook Feed. Could you please link a screenshot or mention where we should look?

    Thank you!
