• Hi guys,

I have a problem and I didn’t find a solution on this forum and Google.

On desktop both frontpages are showing correctly. But the responsive version is showing the wrong frontpage. So on mobile, if I switch to EN language I see in the responsive menu the correct url (/en/) but it still shows the wrong (NL) frontpage. I’ve googled a lot, tried some options but nothing works.

I’ve read something about a caching problem. Using WP Super cache plugin. Cleared cache etc. The strange thing is that it is working perfect on desktop, but only on mobile the English front page won’t show while showing the correct url.

Do you guys have a solution?

    Settings:

    – Hide language for standard language is checked.
    – Hide /language/ in permalinks is checked.
    – Detecting browser language is deactivated.

    Thanks in advance!

  • If Polylang is working on desktop view but has issues on mobile view, the problem is related to the theme or a third party plugin, which handles the mobile view.
Beside the Cache issue it can also be, the mobile version could be managed by Ajax, without page reload. I would recommend contacting the theme author to clarify this.
