Problem with recently uploaded videos on Vimeo

  • I can non longer import recent Vimeo videos into my WP site as posts.
    It gives me this error : Sorry, your video could not be imported, please try again.
    The videos are public, unprotected, etc, as I always do. I’ve done it hundred of times with no issue.
    Interested things, I tried with old videos, it’s working fine. It looks like the problem occurs only with video uploaded recently. Did Vimeo changed something ?

    At each WP update, it’s always a sh..tshow and something breaks but it usually easy to resolve. What I usually do is resetting the Vimeo OAuth keys and recreate the App, no this time, I don’t get the last step, the pop up in the browser to accept the Vimeo API App….Tried with all the browsers I could find, same error.
    Don’t know what’s wrong….

    Can you please give me the Vimeo URL to one of the videos that you couldn’t import? Also, please tell me if you use the PRO version or just this free one.

    Thank you, I tested with your video and was able to import it: https://prntscr.com/urtd8k
    The plugin created the post and displayed the video embed: https://prntscr.com/urte1h (it’s not allowed to display on my domain so it doesn’t show the video).

    Most likely the OAuth keys from your Vimeo App are not working. You should reset the API keys from plugin Settings and re-enter them from your Vimeo App. I know you mentioned you already did this but I can’t think of any other reason why queries are not working.
