Problem With Receipt Print Orders

  • Hi,
    ? ?I’m having issues with printing addons like toppings and extras on my order receipt. Can you guys help me out? With the food ordering Plugin that I use in my website ..email is coming fine with all the addons and extras. I’m? having issues with only printer receipt. I also talked with a plugin company and they told us that only u guys can help us . I’m not a developer and have little knowledge of coding. Can you guys help us or if it can be done on a small fee then I’m ready for paid support. My business is suffering because of this in these difficult times. Please help.

    Hi Nikil,
    ? ? Thank you for your respond. Can you help me with this? I have a small pizza ordering website? I’m using a third party WooCommerce plugin to set up my website? When customer tries to order pizza they get option to choose topping and other extra addons , however if they choose those options and submit an order i get email with all the details (added add ons and extras) but in the printer receipt I only get name of pizza and size ..it doesn’t print out toppings and extra addons along with customer message.

    @mandy07 We try our best to keep up requests, but our plugin requires custom code to convert an order into the printer command language. Therefore integrating with extra fields from other plugins is always a challenge and will usually require some modifications to the source code. I strongly recommend using a WordPress expert to help with modifications where possible, especially one with experience of integrating Star printers. I know that @notion9 has been doing this successfully.

    In General, it is better to begin with this special release version of the plugin https://vault.star-emea.com/s/WFEiKggj7sS3w39 and Enable the “Additional Order Fields” option. If the information you need is then printed then great, but probably a lot of information that you don’t want will be included too. That’s where you will certainly need tome help in adapting it to print exactly the information that you want.
