Problem with radiobutton/checkbox

When I add a checkbox or a radio button, the default entry starts at “option 3”. I can’t edit or delete “option 1” and “option 2”. However, they do not show on the editing screen. When I hit the red negative button to delete Option 3, there is no way for me to add any options.
