Hi the plugin have 1 big problem with the purchase orders.

For example i buy a product and create a new PO
this time i purchase 10 of the same product at $5 each one.

The next time i purchase the same item 10 more but this time i pay $6 each one.

The plugin add the stock but not change the item purchase price.

If the firs time i purchase 10, and sell 7
    i have 3 in stock each one costme $5 = $15
    I purchase 10 more at $6 each one = $60

The plugin need to do the prom.

    3+10 = 13 and $15+$60= 75
    so the 13 items cost me in prom. $75 / 13 = 5.77
In the stock manager need to say stock 13 purchase price 5.77

Or need to make something because if i purchase the same item with 2 different prices the plugin only show 1 price.

    Regards

    Hi glew,

Thank you very much for your post.

I am sorry you feel that there is a problem. Not sure if I understand this as it seems little confusing.

ATUM team designed the PO system so it matches the ordering in WC.

I will give you couple of questions to make this little more clearer to me. I apologise for not understanding the scenario.

When you say the plugin does not change the purchase price, when should it change the price? Do you mean when you press the add to stock button or when you set the PO as completed?

(The system does not know if your price change is permanent or you have just changed it for that particular PO. You need to update the price in the product itself for WC or ATUM to calculate it. Please, see how the orders work in WC. PO is exactly the same right now.)

Hope to hear from you soon.

    Hi Pavel, sorry my english.

    I try to explain
You create 2 PO, this 2 PO have the item XX

    PO 01: Item XX – QTY 05 – $5 Each one = $25
    PO 02: Item XX – QTY 05 – $7 Each one = $35

    Total Stock of item XX
    Stock 10 – cost (5*$5+5*$7=60) – $6 Each One

If you have to change the cost price manually, the POs do not make much sense.
If only it serves to add the stock of the products and not calculate the average cost, of the same product in different purchases, directly some makes the changes in the stock manager.

The idea is that I take the stock and price in the best possible way.

    Again Sorry my english

    Regards

    Hi glew,

Thank you very much for your reply.

Don’t worry, your english is great. I think, now I know the reply to your request.

The free version of ATUM has an option for one purchase price at the time and one supplier at the time. In case you have the same product from several suppliers for different prices, you need to create more products unfortunately. We have couple of improvements coming into the free version of PO, but price breaks and multi-suppliers are not included.

(I can see this scenario being very well handled by our premium Product Levels add-on, where you could only have one product and 2 product parts with different prices attached to it. You can then manage the amount left in stock with different cost prices).

What you are requesting is a complex set of feature and WooCommerce was not built to support such functions. Our team has already prepared blue prints for a Premium Add-on for both, the suppliers and purchase orders. We hope to have them both released at the same time (May 2018). These admins will included forecasting, multi-suppliers, price tiers, PO customising, auto emails, notifications and lot more.

However, before that we would like to release ATUM Dashboard, Stock Takes, App and some other useful features for the free ATUM version.

    Hope this is acceptable.

    Best Regards,

    Pavel
