Problem With Post Directory Levels

  • I’m an amateur with enough knowledge to be dangerous. I had a professional design a new site for me three or four years ago. The professional has since disappeared. The designer created a post group that is two levels down.

    is an example. The “book/book/” levels were created when I started filling in the special post template. With the new WP version, I’ve lost some of my features. The rating stars no longer appear – although the plug in is there. Another third party plug in no long appears in my toolbar. The posts are categorized separately and the taxonomy for the pages doesn’t appear at the top level when searching.

    Can I move the pages easily? Or how can I get the functionality back?

    Still looking for assistance. Even with widget updates they’re not showing on the special pages due to the directory problem. Any ideas?
