Problem with Polylang

  • Hi,

    Cache system seems to be incompatible with Polylang, but you can probably fix it quickly.

    (Website uses Woocommerce and Polylang)

    Here is steps to reproduce :
    – Create a filter “Product Category”
    – Display it on a shop page widget
    – Visit the page in FR : OK
    – Visit the page in EN : OK
    – Return to the page in FR : KO => The Product Category disappear but it works fine in EN.

    If you switch in EN the first time, the FR version works fine. So, i think the issue is caching.

    Hi,

    You need to translate the filters. I don’t remember how it is working in Polylang but you need to translate in the admin.

    I’ll ask our QA to create an article for the Polylang translation. Without translating filters will not work correctly.

    BTW Sometimes when I’m using your drop-down for the language selection it is sending me to wrong address eg boutiques://www.annekerdilescouture.com/fr/boutique/
    For sure boutiques is not a correct web protocol =)

    Thanks for your reply and for the bug you found. I was making changes, it should be now resolved. ??

    I have tried to translate the filters only but it didn’t work. And i also tried to create groups and filters in FR/EN, then to display in specific widget for each language.

    But it didn’t work for now.

    Hi,

    Please try here https://pasteboard.co/IIUpzqn.png to remove second group and remove language condition from the first one.

    Our filters are changing the language automatically based on the base language.
